About the SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS NETWORK
In 2004, Alliance for Sustainable Colorado created the sustainable business network (formally CASBA) to coalesce green business efforts around the state.
The sustainable business network is a now a network of more than 25 Colorado business and trade associations, which have identified sustainability as a priority in their mission. Their combined membership represents over 10,000 professionals in Colorado.
Purpose of the sustainable business network:
- Facilitate communication and increase networking, collaboration, and coordination among sustainable business associations
- Share innovative ideas, best practices, and effective sustainable business tools
- Foster communication and outreach to prospective new members to build membership
- Generate business for member associations
- Enable communication with potential allies on sustainability and environmental issues
- Develop common conversation or legislative goals and implement campaigns
Sustainable Business Activities - Biweekly, the sustainable business network publishes an electronic calendar of upcoming business activities to thousands of recipients around the state. The calendar provides organizations, businesses and individuals with opportunities to collaborate and cross-participate in sustainability events, training sessions and discussions on best practices.
